Kawasaki is gearing up for an exhilarating 2023 sales season with a revamped Ninja ZX-10R and a groundbreaking technological shift in the WorldSBK race-dominating Ninja ZX-10RR.

Entering the 2023 sales season, the Ninja ZX-10R continues to captivate both street riders and track enthusiasts with its latest updates, boasting an impressive maximum power of 149.3 kW {203PS}, further boosted to 156.8 kW {213PS} with the assistance of Kawasaki’s renowned Ram Air.

Retaining its commitment to aerodynamics and WorldSBK-derived technology, the ZX-10R preserves its integrated winglets, enhancing downforce and cornering precision. The Kawasaki Racing Team-developed air-cooled oil-cooler remains a cornerstone of its performance.

An advanced suite of electronic rider aids, empowered by a Bosch IMU, covers every facet of machine control, including cornering management, S-KTRC sport traction control, launch control, integrated braking, engine brake control, selectable power modes, and an up-down quick shifter. Riders can seamlessly connect their smartphones to the color TFT meter using Kawasaki’s Rideology App.

Featuring finger follower valve actuation shared with the KX450 motocross machine, the Ninja ZX-10R ensures the rider experiences smoothness and accuracy in electronic throttle valve responses. SHOWA’s BFF (Balance Free Front Fork) at the front and Horizontal Back-link Rear Suspension with Showa BFRC lite at the rear contribute to racer-like precision and feedback.

For the racers and race teams eyeing the Ninja ZX-10RR, the spotlight is on the newly introduced Variable Air Intake (VAI) system for 2023. Situated within the airbox, this innovative system utilizes movable intake funnels to adjust their height. When raised, the funnels optimize high-rpm performance, and when lowered, they enhance low-mid range performance. Regulated by servos, the funnels adapt to maximize output across all rpm ranges.

The ZX-10RR, designed for racers, now features the VAI system, complemented by Pankl precision engine parts, a higher rev limit than the standard Ninja ZX-10R, and unique Marchesini wheels. Activation of the VAI feature requires specific racing kit parts, including a race-kit ECU, loom, and sub-controller. Please note that VAI is not activated as standard and is not available for road use.

As both the Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR gear up for 2023, the road machine maintains its legendary personality and edge, while the ZX-10RR, in the capable hands of KRT and other skilled riders, aims to reclaim its dominance in the racing arena.

With specifications tailored to different markets, the Ninja ZX-4R stands out as the pinnacle of power and agility. Its most potent variant boasts an 80 PS high-output engine nestled within a lightweight, compact chassis derived from the Ninja ZX-25R. This combination ensures superior cornering performance and an exhilarating acceleration experience. As the sole full-fairing supersport model in the 400cc class with a parallel four-cylinder engine, the Ninja ZX-4R inherits the aggressive appearance and premium features synonymous with the Ninja ZX family, while refining the thrilling exhaust note of its high-revving engine.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to the Supersport realm, the Ninja ZX-4R promises an exciting riding pleasure, embodying the “APEX PREDATOR” concept both on the racetrack and the street.

At its heart lies a newly developed 399cc liquid-cooled, parallel 4-cylinder DOHC engine, drawing inspiration from Kawasaki’s legendary Ninja ZX series. Delivering a maximum output of 57 kW (77 PS) and 59 kW (80 PS) with pressurized ram air, this engine harmoniously blends low- and mid-range torque with potent power at high rpm, catering to diverse riding situations.

Enhanced by Kawasaki’s renowned Ram Air system, the air intake is positioned at the center of the upper cowl, a distinctive feature of the Ninja ZX series. The chassis, influenced by the Ninja ZX-10RR World Superbike, features a high-tensile steel trellis frame and a curved long-type swingarm, ensuring optimal weight distribution, rigidity, and flexibility for agile handling and responsive feedback.

Showa’s advanced SFF-BP front fork and horizontal back-link rear suspension system contribute to superb handling performance, with the Ninja ZX-4RR variant featuring a Showa BFRC-lite rear shock. Braking prowess is provided by ?290mm semi-floating front twin discs and a ?220mm rear disc, offering powerful force and precise control.

The Ninja ZX-4R’s aesthetics are as striking as its performance, with aggressive styling, LED lighting throughout, and a high-grade appearance. Electronic rider aids include integrated riding modes, connecting KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and Power Modes for adaptable riding experiences. The Ninja ZX-4R SE and Ninja ZX-4RR also feature a dual-direction KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) for seamless clutchless shifting.

The meter panel, equipped with a 4.3-inch full-digital color LCD screen, offers high visibility and a premium feel. It includes a track mode displaying lap times, gear positions, and RPMs, complemented by the Kawasaki RIDEOLOGY application for enhanced connectivity, recording GPS route information, and monitoring riding data via smartphone integration.
